Information collected may include personal details, medical and health information, assessment findings, treatment records, and other information necessary for the provision and management of Biokinetics services. This information is used for purposes including assessment, treatment, clinical record-keeping, communication, billing and meeting legal and professional obligations.
Personal information will only be shared with appropriate third parties where necessary for the provision of care, with the patient’s consent where required, or where permitted or required by law.
Reasonable technical, administrative and organisational safeguards are implemented to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. Records are retained in accordance with applicable legal, regulatory and professional requirements.
Patients have rights in relation to their personal information, including the right to request access to and correction of their information, subject to applicable legal requirements.
